EPIRUS SA, one of the largest cheese-producing companies in Greece, won four awards at the Mediterranean Taste Awards 2024 for the exquisite taste of its products.
In particular, a platinum award was given to EPIROS Organic Feta PDO cheese from 100% organic goat and sheep milk, which has already received multiple prestigious international awards, as well as to EPIROS Goat White cheese, with its unique spicy and peppery taste, which is an excellent alternative for those who are intolerant to the consumption of cow products.
At the same time, a gold award was awarded to EPIROS Original Feta PDO cheese, the traditional, authentic Greek feta, which is produced with the strictest quality and safety standards at the company’s factory in Ammotopos Arta, and to EPIROS Spread cheese with Feta, with a particularly rich taste and creamy texture, which is also an important source of calcium and protein.
The aim of the Mediterranean Taste Awards is to spread the advantages and benefits of the Mediterranean diet and to highlight the most innovative, high-quality and unique food products. This year, more than 640 food products from 18 countries were evaluated through a blind testing process, which ensures the impartiality and objectivity of the results.
For one more year, the distinction of EPIROS products confirms the company’s commitment to the production of cheese products that stand out for their quality, taste and nutritional value and which faithfully follow the values of Greek tradition and the Mediterranean diet.
